Thank you for your interest in the Arizona State Law Journal. Please review the following information prior to submitting. If you have any questions, email the Executive Articles Editor.

The Journal welcomes general submissions on the law and law-related topics. Members and non-members of the Journal may submit their work.

The Journal strongly prefers submissions through Scholastica. Text and footnotes should conform to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (21st ed. 2020).

Arizona State Law Journal is now open for submission. All submissions will be considered for placement in any of the issues from Winter 2024 through Summer 2025.

This Winter, we have the honor of publishing a special issue in memory of Justice Sandra Day O'Connor. This issue will contain statements by the members of the Supreme Court released on December 1, 2023, as well as Justice Sotomayor's remarks delivered at the Lying in Repose of Justice O'Connor at the Supreme Court on December 18, 2023.

The Winter Issue and all selected articles are dedicated to honoring the life and legacy of Justice O'Connor. If you are interested in submitting an article specifically for this issue, please submit a manuscript as soon as possible and note in your submission that you would like to be considered for the Winter Issue.

We will have a preference for articles on topics related to important issues in Justice O'Connor's career, including but not limited to judicial integrity, women's rights, federalism, etc. If your article is not selected for the Winter issue, it will still be considered for our other issues.

The Arizona State Law Journal has a preference for articles under 25,000 words and a strong preference for articles under 30,000 words. Thank you!
